About Karishma
As a third-year Health Science Student and aspiring medical student, I am exposed to many branches of science each day. From working in labs to attending seminars, my experience within the field of human sciences is well integrated into my daily life. I am able to apply what I learn inside the classroom to my personal life through volunteering and within my relationships. I work part-time at Oxford Learning as a teacher and am passionate about watching students thrive in areas of their work in which they previously lacked confidence. I also love reading, cooking and travelling! I understand that life's challenges may be overwhelming and how they can reflect on academic performance. Together, we will work through concepts so you can be more confident in your schoolwork and have results reflective of that.

My teaching method will allow you to review homework and assignments with me and together we will review what worked and what didn't work. From here, we will work together to develop a basic understanding of missed concepts and understand why certain methods did not work. Teaching methods will include interactive whiteboards to work out problems, step-by-step walkthroughs on concepts and reaching ahead to stay on top of material that's being learned. By working together the student will have a better understanding and increased confidence to approach these tasks.
