About Joshua
I am a Textile design Student. I have taken Fine art at GCSE and A-level. I have also completed an Art foundation at Distinction Level. I have just finished First year achieving a first in every project, including the essay.
I have never tutored before, but feel as though I will be able to really help those, especially still in school and doing art foundations as these are still very recent and I now have a good understanding of what Universities and school examiners are looking for.
I have experience with Screenprinting, Dye sublimation processes, Digital print designing, as well as drawing skills such as detailed pencil tone and mark making skills for more of a graphic based work.

I will look at projects as a whole and gain an understanding of what the student is trying to achieve and help push them in the right direction, offering feedback and contextual support. This will come in the form of critiquing works in progress and offering advice on where to go next. I can also offer support in multiple areas of art and design, including digital designing on photoshop.
If having multiple sessions I will conduct my own research into the subject area at hand and offer support - but still pushing the student on how to conduct good quality research which focuses on what actually needs to be researched - and which bits are irrelevant.
