About Anthoni
I am an undergraduate Psychology student at the University of Salford with experience tutoring pupils in an intervention programme. I achieved A* in iGCSE English Language, A* English Literature, and an A in GCSE Japanese. Subsequently I gained ABB at A-level, with an A* in the Extended Project Qualification. The vast majority of my academic assessment follows a written format, and so I am adept in the knowledge of English language and academic writing.

I go through the syllabus either in chronological order or in the priority selected by the pupil. I will provide the pupil with a list of topics and ask them to RAG (red-amber-green) rate the topic with their level of familiarity. I will also provide the pupil with revision resources where possible, and can provide them with multiple choice questions or sample exam questions that I can mark for them between lessons. At the beginning of the lesson I will provide the pupil with a key terms test or consolidation task -(such as a mind-map), so I can ascertain their level of knowledge in the topic. After this, I will explain and summarise the topic covered to the pupil while they create some form of notes - I recommend the Harvard style, which I can teach the pupil how to use during the first session. Next, we will plan an exam answer together. I will set homework for the pupil to take home which we will go through feedback for within the session, with the aim of creating a revision tool in the form of a notebook or folder full of sample examination answers.
