About Benjamin
A native English speaker of British English, bilingual in French, and TEFL certified, I teach English at all levels: conversational, accent improvement, and business English. Raised between London and Paris, a graduate of École W, and having studied at the University of Manchester, I then worked as a journalist for international English-language media and as a consultant for global companies. My lessons are 100% personalized, either in person or online, at your own pace.

I primarily work using the PPP model: presentation of a language point in context, controlled practice, then free production. Grammar is taught functionally—to liberate the student, not constrain them. Error correction is adapted to the moment: precise during practice phases, delayed or non-verbal during free production to avoid breaking the student's momentum. Typical lesson structure: Each session begins with a review of the previous one—a quick review, vocabulary game, or revisiting a point that hasn't been fully grasped. The middle phase alternates between language input and communicative activity, often using authentic materials (articles, audio recordings, professional documents). The lesson concludes with free production and a review of what remains to be worked on. Specifics as a teacher: As a native bilingual speaker, I teach English as it is spoken—accent, rhythm, registers, cultural nuances. Having grown up between London and Paris, I have a precise understanding of the difficulties faced by French speakers and know from experience what mastering English in demanding professional contexts actually entails.
