About Avinandan
Hello! I’m Avinandan, a 4th-year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student from Kolkata, West Bengal.
Mathematics has always been an important part of my engineering studies, and I enjoy breaking down difficult problems into simple, understandable steps. Through my engineering education, I have developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, analytical thinking and problem solving.
I enjoy teaching because I believe that students often struggle with Math not because they cannot learn it, but because the fundamentals may not have been explained in a way that works for them.
My teaching style is friendly, patient and concept-focused. I first try to understand where the student is facing difficulty and then work on strengthening the basics before moving towards more challenging problems.
I can help school students with Mathematics, including understanding concepts, solving numerical problems, homework, revision and examination preparation.
I encourage students to ask questions freely and never feel embarrassed about making mistakes. I believe that consistent practice combined with clear explanations can make Mathematics much more comfortable and enjoyable.
My goal is to help every student build strong mathematical fundamentals, improve problem-solving ability and gradually become confident enough to solve problems independently.

My Mathematics classes are designed to make Math simple, understandable and less intimidating. I focus on building strong fundamentals so that students understand why a method works instead of simply memorizing formulas.
I first understand the student's current level, strengths and difficulties. I then customize the lessons according to their school syllabus, learning pace and goals.
A typical class includes:
• Quick revision of previously learned concepts
• Clear explanation of the new topic from the basics
• Step-by-step examples and problem solving
• Guided practice with the student
• Short questions to check understanding
• Doubt clearing and correction of mistakes
• Additional practice problems when required
I use simple explanations and real-life examples wherever they can make a mathematical concept easier to understand. For students who find Math difficult, I break complicated problems into smaller and easier steps.
For students preparing for examinations, I can also focus on important concepts, numerical practice, revision and time-efficient problem-solving techniques.
My classes are mainly intended for school students, particularly those who want to strengthen their fundamentals, improve their problem-solving skills or gain confidence in Mathematics.
My goal is not just to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand the process so they can solve similar problems independently.
