About Emoke
I have a certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Teaching is my passion as I believe that it I am able to help them to overcome their blocks with the language.
The most common issue is the lack of confidence....we have ALL been there, right?! It's really scary to speak sometimes, as we are ashamed of our accents, or worried that we won't know which grammar to use to say what we want...I have been there! :)
My biggest happiness when it comes to teaching is when I can see the level of confidence rising in my students. It makes me super happy to see that they are getting more and more confident in expressing themselves, that they are not afraid to make mistakes or ask for a word that they are not sure about.
It's all part of the game, guys! The first step is to find a tutor that you can connect with and you feel like you can have a great connection with when it comes to learning.

What my aim is when I am teaching is to make people feel comfortable with the language.
Helping my students to discover and overcome their blocks is my main goal as I believe that it's the beginning of the learning process.
We ALL have fears. We ALL face obstacles. And we ALL have insecurities.
What I am creating during my lessons is a safe place for you to address those issues with me being there and assisting you.
I know you can do it! Just take the firs step and let's face them together! :)

Details
My hourly rate includes 60 minutes of my undivided attention, and feedback on your homework via e-mail or orally.
There is a possibility to go for a package that includes more lessons - of course all of this depends on your goal, on how you would like to get there, on your current level and of course on the method we agree on to use in our lessons.
If you would like to get to know me better before committing yourself to the lessons, there is a possibility for you to have a 30-minute call with me beforehand.
I conduct my lessons on-line, via Skype, as I believe that it is the easiest and most comfortable way for both of us, and it takes less of our time.
