About Niraj

The very PURPOSE of setting up Intellect Growth Management [IGM] is and always will be to render useful and essential services of Teaching to student community in order to effect development and nurturing of intellect of each and every student under its umbrella apart from prime service of rendering quality knowledge plus understanding of every concept. The focus is on imparting the skill of structuring the thought process of each student as also to acquaint-equip him-her with right approach towards learning any new subject or any new concept with acquiring the skill of permanent retention and speedy retrieval of the learnt subjects-concepts.
Intellect means the skill of a student to think in a well-structured manner as also asking right questions to self [and not to teacher] while approaching-attempting to understand any concept in education or in real life. The art and skill of learning any new concept (learn to learn new things) and right-thinking (learn to think) approach are what IGM emphasizes upon while conducting coaching sessions for its students. These are the founding principles of my coaching firm.
I have two years of teaching experience in conducting home tuitions - class tuitions for school children across different boards for class 6th to class 10th [for IGCSE Board, ICSE Board, CBSE Board and SSC Board; I can also teach to IB Board students]. My teaching experience comprises teaching in classrooms to school children at T.I.M.E institute. I have now started my own teaching enterprise in order to create and maintain rich teaching experiences for students. I have already recently concluded my teaching assignment of a student in Andheri (West) in Yari Road who studied online MBA at NMIMS. She is an Arts graduate [non-Commerce graduate] by background qualification to whom i was required to teach the subject of Financial Accounting in just 40 days' time (August 2018-September 2018] because her exams were approaching fast [towards end of September 2018]. She needed to clear the exam paper of subject "Financial Accounting" of this online MBA course because she had failed in this subject in her previous attempt scoring about 48 marks [50 marks is minimum to pass in an MBA course] and her wedding scheduled in December 2018 [that is why she had opted for an exam date in the month of September 2018 towards the end of the month so as to provide for adequate time for her wedding preparations]. After completion of my short teaching course on this subject, she not just comfortably passed the subject exam but also scored relatively good score of 65 marks [an improvement of 17 marks (35.41% improvement over her previous score of 48 marks)] having regards to the fact of time constraint-short time-urgency. She is quite satisfied as also delighted with my tuition/teaching quality and overall teaching services for this subject. I shall be happy to show you her relevant WhatsApp messages as supporting evidence to this testimony claim of mine for your reference checking.
(a) Core Services: Core services will comprise teaching of all topics and chapters in portion along with after-chapter exercises in the school textbooks. Some exercises to be given as as HomeWorks to be done by the student and subsequently, it will be verified by me for its correctness in next session. Topic-wise Tests will be administered at the weekend for every week and Chapter-wise Tests will be administered at the month-end for every month for all completed chapters done in that month. Critical and constructive evaluation of the students understanding-learning of the topics and concepts, feedback, followed by guidance to help student improve in areas of shortfall. Finally, revision services before exams through either home sessions or through emails or through FaceTime sessions or through Skype sessions [as will be the situation and need having regards to the time constraints]
(b) Value-added Services: Core Teaching Services are supported by value-added services through eMails, FaceTime, and Skype discussions for solving of accumulated queries-confusions-questions in next 72 hours since the time they are posted and alerted to me. WhatsApp to be used by the students to alert me of posting of any study-related queries, questions, confusions, guidance.
Beyond the Scope of my teaching/tuition assignment: I don't provide study material nor study notes because of the reasons explained in point no.(4) of the pointer "Teaching Methodology" below.
Teaching Methodology:
(1) I firmly believe and practice the teaching method of explaining using real-life practical and relevant examples related to the concept-topic-chapter being taught. I also shall be teaching student using case-studies method wherein i shall be giving real-life case studies to the student as home assignment to first read + understand it; followed by its discussion with me followed by inference-solution/s-conclusion.
(2) Teaching using study of real-life data-information-statistics [data interpretation and insights learning].
(3) Discussions on online research, White Papers and online industry reports.
(4) I expect the student to be completely independent in recording the notes in his-her own words basis his-her learning and understanding of the taught concepts and topics i.e. to first listen-understand-grasp the concepts and topics while i am teaching during sessions rather than getting divided/diverted his-her attention towards the notes-study materials. I firmly believe that effective and correct teaching-learning happens possible only through exclusive and complete attention + focus to listening while sessions are going on which is possible only if the student's attention does not get diverted-divided-diluted by noting down of notes-study materials while teaching session is "Live" going on. This is the Secret to effective and permanent learning and intellect development. Once each teaching session is completed and after i leave, I expect the student to revisit and revise the topics-concepts-chapter taught during that day's session immediately after session or at least on the very same day itself without any delay [this is the Secret to registering-recording of the taught concept-topic in student's mind as also the Secret to future speedy/timely retrieval-recollecting-remembering the concept when needed or when tested]. This must be followed by compulsory email of summary of day's learnings to be sent by the student to me [this shall act-serve as a means of creating and recording of study material and notes for student's future reference and study; It serves three purposes at the very same time i.e. revision of taught topics-concepts, retention thereof and creating of study material/study notes thereby saving of student's as well as teacher's time]
