About Mark
I have a background in linguistics, with a degree from SOAS, University of London, and an MA in Screenwriting from the London Film School, during which time I also studied storyboarding under Temple Clarke. As far as art goes I am entirely self-taught. I have an online presence and have exhibited all over the world. I work mainly in pen and ink, watercolour and digital media.

I like to approach drawing and painting from an individual perspective, to encourage people to experiment and find their own style by actively searching for it through practice. The more you draw and paint the less inhibited you feel and then over time your style emerges and you are able to express yourself visually without constraints. I love many types of art from the Italian masters to illustration, comics and graphic novels, and I believe all art is storytelling.
