About Alicja
Hi! My name is Ala
I am a graduate of Poznań high school no. V and I am currently studying psychology at the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań.
I obtained a hundred percent result in the English Matura exam at the basic and advanced level, which confirms my skills. I am an understanding and patient person, I know that everyone is different and I appreciate the specificity of each person.
I believe that learning a language is one of the most important areas nowadays, unfortunately often neglected in schools and not adapted to personal needs. In my work as a tutor, I want everyone to have the opportunity to develop their language skills, regardless of their preferred working methods and the level at which they start. I believe that individual tutoring is one of the best opportunities to develop language skills because it is free from peer pressure and possible comparison.

English has been close to me since I was a child and I know how important it is to know it at every stage of life.
In my studies, I focus on an individual approach to the person and adapting to their work rhythm. It is important for me to convey knowledge in an accessible and understandable way. I believe that it is more important to thoroughly master the material at your own pace than to cover it superficially "on time", which is why I do not rush my students and give them space to understand a given issue.
I try to adapt my methods individually, after determining what is most transparent for the student.
I am interested in working with associations, mnemonics (rhymes, memory chains, acronyms), visualizations and a multi-sensory approach, but I am also open to new ways of transmitting knowledge.
