About May Moonah
Hi! My name is May Moonah Sommer, and I am hoping to start tutoring part-time. I have always had a talent with science, I got 9's in my GCSE qualification in double science, then went on to study a BTEC in applied science at Bradford College. I have so far completed the first year, and am hoping to graduate in a year's time, where I will hope to pursue a career in science. I enjoy painting, studying (boring!), cycling and swimming in my spare time, but am hoping to start tutoring as another hobby!

My teaching techniques vary from student to student. I am free to go through online textbooks, make my own lessons, go through quizzes together, take past exam papers in lessons and do anything and everything to help my students during lessons. My lessons will vary from 30-60 minutes, depending on my students' availability and choice. I have never actually taught GCSE science before, but have taught several other subjects, mainly outside secular education, such as several Islamic studies and art. I will look at my students' needs, ask them what their target grades are, where their weak spots are and work with them to reach their full potential!
