About Rayan
I'm currently in my third year at McGill University, studying Computer Science and Mathematics. Balancing a demanding academic workload has given me strong discipline and a deep, practical understanding of the math concepts I teach, from algebra to calculus. I've always enjoyed helping classmates and friends work through problems they were stuck on, and I bring that same patience and clarity to tutoring. As a Computer Science student, I have a strong foundation in mathematics and I understand what it's like to struggle with certain concepts, which shapes how I teach. Rather than following a rigid script, I start each lesson by identifying exactly where the student is stuck and what's causing the confusion. A typical lesson involves reviewing the underlying concept together, working through practice problems step by step, and ending with a short exercise to reinforce what we covered.
