About Meirav
Hi! My name is Meirav Solomon and I am a student at Tufts University. I was an ESL tutor for two years in high school and also did summer ESL volunteering for one year. I loved teaching ESL and creating a bond with those who I tutored. I want to help you achieve your goals through proficiency in English whatever they might be and I’m willing to work with you as long as it takes to make that happen.

First, I would establish your goals because I can’t help you if I don’t know what you are looking to improve upon. Then I would want to pick out a few books that you would actually want to read and we would begin working page by page to sound out the words and gain understanding of their meaning and value. We will work on reading aloud and comprehension while also working on speaking before we work on writing. Writing will consist of handwriting lessons as well as help with the grammatical aspect of writing ex. how to write a compound sentence, what is a direct object? what is a pronoun?
