About Aakshat
Hi! I'm Aakshat, and I'm passionate about helping students reach their full potential in Maths and Science. I know that subjects like Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Physics can seem challenging at first, but with the right guidance and approach, they become much more manageable and even enjoyable.
Having recently completed A-Levels myself, I understand the pressures students face and the areas where many struggle. This allows me to explain difficult concepts in a way that's clear, relatable, and easy to understand. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.

My tutoring approach is centred around building a strong understanding of the underlying concepts before moving on to exam-style questions. I believe that once students truly understand *why* a method works, they are able to solve unfamiliar problems with confidence rather than relying on memorisation. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style.
I use a structured teaching method that begins with explaining new concepts clearly using worked examples, followed by guided practice where we solve questions together. As confidence grows, students complete increasingly challenging exam questions independently while I provide feedback on both their understanding and exam technique. I regularly incorporate past paper questions and mark schemes to ensure students become familiar with the style and standard required in GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although 90 or 120-minute sessions are available for students if required
I tutor GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as younger students studying Key Stage 3 and below. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities, whether they need help building confidence, catching up with school content, or aiming for the highest grades.
