About Jules

My teaching is based on three fundamental pillars for a serene learning to my taste: kindness, adaptability and confidence. Referring to many psychological concepts that I master, especially in positive education, I offer lessons which allow my students "to learn to learn", to develop methodology and confidence in their skills.
My courses are mainly for children and adolescents in middle and high school, wishing to develop their oral and / or written skills in English (whether it concerns vocabulary, grammar, fluency, etc.).

About the lesson

I'm studying Psychology (Master 2), and have been teaching elementary / college / high school students for about 2 years. I also had the opportunity to do a lot of babysitting. Childhood and pedagogy are areas I really enjoy, as I plan to work with this population after graduation.
I have always used to help my classmates understand things on which they stumble on, since elementary school. Naturally kind, I aspire to become a teacher later: helping others understand is a skill that I have learned to master over time, and that I want to keep developing.

Jules est un professeur exceptionnel, à l’écoute et très pédagogue. Grâce à lui, j'ai nettement progressé, aussi bien à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. Il sait s’adapter à mon rythme et mes besoins, avec bienveillance et méthode. Les séances sont claires, structurées et motivantes. Je recommande Jules sans hésiter !

Of course, I change my price according to the level of the student: after a first lesson in which I evaluate his weaknesses and strenghs, I try to estimate the work that must be achieved; the fewer shortcomings there are, the lower my price will be (minimum 15€/h).
