About Cheronna
Hello! My name is Cheronna, and I'll be your tutor for GCSE and A-Level. I'm currently a First-Year Chemical Engineering student at Imperial College London, which means two things: I recently navigated the A-Level curriculum myself, and my entire university life is built on advanced Maths, Physics, Chemistry and problem-solving. Why I Teach I teach because I believe that the confusion many students feel about mathematics isn't a lack of ability—it's often a conceptual hurdle or a fear of complex problems. My goal isn't just to help you pass exams; it's to help you see the logic and structure behind the calculations. I want to replace the fear of the unknown question with the confidence that you have the right tools to tackle anything they throw at you. Engineering demands a meticulous, disciplined approach, and I’m here to pass those rigorous study skills on to you so you can excel both in your exams and beyond.

My Tutoring technique is centred on the "Ask -Explain-Apply-Extend" method: Ask: Before the session I ask my pupil which topics they want to focus on Explain: I break down the core concept of these topics, stating key facts that are essential for understanding, until the student can explain it back to me. Apply: We immediately tackle example problem sets focused on that single concept to solidify understanding and highlight weak spots. Extend: We move to past paper questions and timing exercises to master exam strategy and application of multiple concepts simultaneously. The typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour, however I am open to modify this length based on what fits the needs/wants of the student. Qualifications: GCSE (2023) Edexcel Mathematics - 9 AQA Further Mathematics - 9 AQA Chemistry - 9 AQA Biology -9 A - Level (2025) Edexcel Mathematics - A* (290/300) Edexcel Further Mathematics A* (272/300) AQA Chemistry - A*(261/300) Experience: Throughout sixth form I tutored children in my college from Year 7 - Year 11 in Mathematics and Sciences My lessons are primarily for students aged 14–18 working towards their GCSE (Years 10-11) and A-Level (Years 12-13) qualifications in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. I focus on students aiming for high grades at GCSE and A-level
