About Annabelle
I am a student at the Language and Interpreting Institute in Munich, where I am learning Spanish and English. Only native speakers from different countries are represented at the SDI, which gives me a large vocabulary and variety with different dialects. Even at school I was very interested in languages and was able to help others improve their pronunciation and explain grammar in an understandable way. I am currently teaching the basics of English to a middle aged woman with hearing loss.

My lessons are aimed at students in grades 5-10. I myself prefer to structure the lessons with conversations (especially with topics that interest the student) - in my experience this often relieves the learner's fear, expands the vocabulary and often helps with grammatical understanding. To do this, I would go through the homework or current topics in school lessons together and help. By regularly querying vocabulary, these are anchored and also contribute to expanding the vocabulary.
