About Nicole
Hi! I’m a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and Certified Reading Interventionist with a Master’s in Reading Education and 13 years of teaching experience.
Traditional reading instruction often leaves dyslexic and struggling readers behind. My virtual and in-person sessions utilize proven, multisensory Structured Literacy techniques designed to rewire how students process print—making reading logical, predictable, and achievable.
I use Structured Literacy principles rooted in the Science of Reading (explicit, systematic, and multisensory phonics, decoding, and encoding).

If your child struggles with reading or has been diagnosed with dyslexia, traditional teaching methods often aren't enough. I offer individualized, explicit reading instruction designed specifically for struggling readers and students with dyslexia.
Using structured, multisensory techniques, I help students understand how language works rather than relying on guessing. My goal isn't just better test scores—it's helping students regain their self-esteem and enjoy reading again.
we will focus on:
Phonemic awareness and systematic phonics
Decoding and multisensory spelling strategies
Reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension
Creating a positive, stress-free learning environment
