About Mutiara

Hello, I'm Mutiara Dinanti Pratiwi, S.Pd., a graduate of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. For me, Indonesian isn't just a subject filled with long texts, rules, and memorization. Language is how we understand the world, express our thoughts, create stories, and even know ourselves. I want to teach because I want to open the eyes of more students to the fact that learning Indonesian can actually be very enjoyable. Reading doesn't have to be boring, writing doesn't have to be a tiring task, and understanding language rules doesn't always have to be synonymous with memorizing rules. In my lessons, I enjoy inviting students to discover the meaning behind a text, discuss it, try various ways to understand the material, and connect it to things close to their lives. I believe every student has a different learning style, so I try to adapt the learning to each student's needs and character. Through this course, I want students to not only be able to answer Indonesian questions, but also slowly say, "Turns out Indonesian can be this fun, huh?"

About the lesson

Every student has different abilities, needs, and learning styles. Therefore, I implement a personalized learning approach by first understanding the student's learning difficulties and goals. Learning materials and methods are tailored to each student's ability level and learning characteristics, making the learning process more comfortable, interactive, and less monotonous. In my Indonesian language courses, I not only help students understand school material but also develop their reading, writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. I strive to create a relaxed yet focused learning environment, allowing students to ask questions freely, engage in discussions, and learn from mistakes without feeling pressured. From assignment guidance and understanding materials, grammar, various text types, and even Indonesian literature, learning is tailored to the student's needs. For me, learning success isn't just about getting good grades, but also about students truly understanding the material and becoming more confident in using Indonesian.
