About Emma Louise
I am Emma Louise Parker, a chemistry tutor with 8 years of experience teaching K-12 and college students in the USA. I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Princeton University.
I’ve been awarded the “Chemical Innovation Medal” and the “Research Excellence Award” for my ability to make chemistry both accessible and fascinating. My strict approach to teaching ensures that students fully grasp the subject matter.
Outside teaching, I enjoy baking, gardening, and volunteering in my community. As a Tutor, students and their parents' feedback is important for us, and I strive to adjust my lessons to match your individual learning style!

In my chemistry lessons, we start with the basics and build a strong foundation. We’ll cover everything from atomic theory and chemical bonding to more complex topics like organic chemistry, biochemistry, and chemical reactions. I challenge my students to think critically, apply their knowledge, and solve complex problems independently.
I keep the lessons engaging and ensure that students understand both the theory and the practical applications of chemistry. We explore real-world examples from pharmaceuticals, environmental science, and food chemistry, making every topic relevant and exciting.
While I expect a lot of dedication, I also believe that learning chemistry should be fun and rewarding. Through hands-on experiments, practice problems, and guided discussions, we’ll ensure that you understand the material thoroughly. Exam Practices and problem-solving sessions help reinforce everything you've learned.
