About Yoshino

Hi! I’m an art instructor with 20+ years of painting experience and a formal background in Interior Design. My focus is on sharing the joy of creation while building real artistic confidence — no rigid pressure, just patient, high-quality instruction that nurtures both technical skill and creative dexterity. Every child learns at their own pace, so I invite parents to send a quick message about their child’s age, goals, or interests so I can tailor our focus right from the start. I offer a free trial lesson with zero commitment so your child can experience the studio before beginning regular sessions!

About the lesson

Every lesson transforms natural creative interest into real technical skill through clear, step-by-step 1-on-1 guidance. Rather than following simple craft templates, students master core artistic fundamentals — including light and shadow, perspective, color mixing, and composition. Whether a student wants to draw detailed characters, paint landscapes, or assemble a specialized art portfolio, lessons are customized to their personal goals and pace.

To deliver an engaging and convenient online studio experience, each weekly 60-minute private session features direct, real-time coaching. My multi-camera setup combines a high-definition webcam for natural conversation with an overhead camera focused directly on my workspace, making it effortless for students to follow my hands as I demonstrate each brushstroke step-by-step. Students simply need a device with a working camera and microphone — an iPad, tablet, or computer — for a quick and easy setup at home.

I work with accessible supplies including acrylic paints, watercolors, acrylic markers, oil pastels, and colored pencils — and students only need a few basic items to begin, as I tailor projects around what you already have at home. Through patient, individualized mentorship, students build true confidence in their artistic abilities — leaving every class with artwork they are genuinely proud to call their own.
