E to A grades in half a year, at secondary and junior college levels. Repeated across ability levels, including ACJC students and members of Boys' Town Singapore.
In one instance a student went from one of the bottom performances in class to the second-highest scorer in half a year.

About the lesson

My teaching goal with every student is: durable, reproducible A-grade performance under exam conditions.

To that end, every lesson focuses on developing durable understanding through two pillars: practice & discussion.

Over the years I have developed invariant principles for tackling any question in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I work closely with every student to develop their understanding of these principles by applying them repeatedly to exam-style questions.

I take care to meet each student where they are at, rather than imposing my thinking on them. In doing so, the pace of the lesson moves with their understanding, and rewires misconceptions in real-time.

Students have walked away more confident in the subject matter, applying their new understanding deftly in novel situations, and under exam conditions.

I look forward to bringing the same approach to your child for lasting impact.

Abel is a very teachable student with good ideas. He has an instinct for how to get the right answer, which can be useful in certain classes of problems. With practice, that instinct can be paired with hard mathematical rules so that his problem-solving becomes unassailable. I would recommend Abel as an avid learner!
