I am a 4th year medical student. I have tutored individuals and groups both in and out of my medical school career. I have personally mastered the sciences in preparation for and during med school. My students have told me how much my lessons have helped and they have had great success.

I learn best by understanding the mechanism that underlies whatever concept I am trying to master. When I tutor others, I try to focus on getting them to understand WHY things are happening rather than rote memorization because that triggers more long term memories. I also learn a lot from helpful mnemonics and wordplay and share these secrets whenever applicable.
