About Govind

Hello, my name is Govind. I am currently in Year 13 studying Maths, Chemistry and Computer Science A-Levels. My results from my GCSEs for the following were: Maths - Grade 9 Chemistry - Grade 8 Computer Science - Grade 8 (one mark off a Grade 9) My A-Level Predicted Grade is an A. At the start of secondary, I disliked science in general. My grades were never the best which deterred me from actually trying. However, when it got to Year 10, I decided to properly revise and see if there is any improvement. After much revision and note writing (these notes will be given to my students, the same notes which helped me attain my GCSE grades) I managed to get 8s in all sciences and grade 9 in maths.

About the lesson

I am passionate about helping other students, whose shoes I was once in, who may be struggling with any of these two subjects. I am a tutor who will not just be offering help in the 1-hour lesson, but at all times during the week should my students have any questions or problems. This will ensure that each lesson is a progression from the last. My lessons are for anyone from Year 7 to those about to take their GCSEs. These lessons will be for 1 hour and will be online, where I will be teaching my students any topic they specify where they are struggling. I will then use my notes that I created during my GCSE time to create my lesson for the topic. If the student does not know what they would like to start from, we will start from the basics and build our knowledge up from there. Questions will be given in class to assess the students' learning and homework will also be set online on Google Classrooms, so that any questions they have can be posted on there and I can respond to them.
