About Pippa
I love sharing my joy for singing with others and many students have commented on how much they are inspired by my enthusiasm, feeling at ease with my relaxed and fun approach to learning music.
I believe every singer has the potential to be both highly skilled in the genres they love AND hugely versatile. The human voice is the most flexible and universally accessible instrument that exists. With our human instinct to use our voice to communicate, convey emotions and portray narrative, I believe storytelling is the most important thing about singing at any age.
In my own time, I love singing jazz, soul, classic musical theatre, romantic song and early music. I sing in two church choirs and using my voice within the context of my faith is very important to me.
I also love the outdoors and the landscape in which I live (the Malvern Hills) has been a source of great joy to me throughout my childhood and into my adult years too. My favourite thing to do if I need a pick-me-up is to walk all the way up to the top of the hills and sing out into the fresh open air!

Gain confidence and improve your vocal skills through lessons that are tailored to unlock your true potential through singing the music you love.
I approach singing teaching in a holistic manner that uses elements of the Estil model (a training in vocal qualities that encourages versatility and sound vocal health).
I have varied experience of over 10 years of professional Musical Theatre singing experience on tour and in the West End, mixed with over 10 years of music teaching in Primary education, private vocal coaching and Choral leadership.
I have gained a Bachelor of Music, a Postgraduate Perfromace Diploma from a top London conservatoire and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Music ecudcation. Action Research studies at Masters level focused on storytelling throuh music in young children.
