About Katia
About Me Hi, I’m Katia van Hilten, a passionate and experienced singing teacher with a strong background in Musical Theatre. I hold a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from the Elder Conservatorium of Music and a Diploma of Musical Theatre from Brent Street Studios where I graduated with honours. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with students aged 7-18 at all experience levels, helping them build confidence, refine technique, and develop their unique voices. With extensive training in singing, acting, and dance, I bring a well-rounded approach to my lessons. Whether you're looking to strengthen your vocal technique, prepare for auditions, or improve your stage presence, I tailor each lesson to suit your goals. My performance experience includes lead roles in productions such as Legally Blonde, Les Misérables, and Urinetown, as well as commercial and voiceover work. I believe that every singer has a unique voice, and my goal is to help you find yours in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether you're a beginner or an aspiring professional, I’d love to help you on your musical journey!
