About Ivy

As someone in the legal profession, high standards of professionalism and competency are important to me. I bring the same attitude to musical instruction. Your success as a student of music is important to me, and I will give you the same level of care and attention that I would to any legal client. Let's work together to bring out your true strength as an artist.

About the lesson

If you also want to pursue the singer-songwriter tradition, you should take lessons with me. We can go over some aspects of musical theory, but the lessons will focus mostly on the practical aspects of guitar playing and developing your ear. We can also go over lyricism, song structure, and how to capture an audience's attention during live performances.
