About Harshal Paresh
My name is Harshal Paresh Trivedi, an MSc Advanced Computer Science student at the University of Sheffield with a background in Computer Science & Engineering. Drawing from my experience as an Academic Peer Mentor, I offer tailored private tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Science. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex, abstract theories into step-by-step, visual explanations. Rather than relying on rote memorisation, I help students build underlying logical confidence and strong problem-solving skills. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes (or 90 minutes for intensive revision) and are structured around three key phases: reviewing core concepts, working through guided practice problems, and applying concepts to exam-style past paper questions. I adapt the pace and teaching style to every student's individual learning needs to help them achieve top academic results.
