About TraNya
I want to help kids who are struggling and find better ways for children to understand and feel confident, and a safe space not feel judged about struggling in a subject that most people struggle with. By teaching young kids English, they will become more confident.

I will be teaching young kids who are new or just struggling in English. 1. Warm-Up (5 min) Greet each child by name: “Hi, Emma! How are you today?” Do a quick “feelings check” with emojis or visual cards Sing a “Hello Song” together (e.g., Hello! from Super Simple Songs) 2. Vocabulary Presentation (7–10 min) Screen share pictures or slides with: Dog Cat Elephant Fish Bird Then introduce actions: Run Jump Fly ️ Swim Eat ️ Use Total Physical Response (TPR): Say the word and show the movement on camera: "Jump like a cat!" "Fly like a bird!" 3. Interactive Game: "Guess the Animal!" (5–7 min) Turn off your camera or use a virtual background Imitate an animal (e.g., flap arms like wings) Kids guess: “It’s a bird!” Bonus: Ask what it does—“What does a bird do?” → “It flies!” 4. Mini Story Time (5–7 min) Share-screen and read a simple e-book or online story (like Dear Zoo or Brown Bear) Ask questions: “What animal do you see?” “What color is the bear?” “What does the bird do?” 5. Sentence Practice (5 min) Show simple sentence frames: “The cat jumps.” “The fish swims.” Call on each student: “Can you say a sentence?” Use visuals to support the sentence structure 6. Action Song (3–5 min) Share-screen a movement song: Walking in the Jungle (Super Simple Songs) Kids sing, move, and follow along 7. Wrap-Up and Review (3 min) Ask: “What’s your favorite animal?” “Can a cat fly?” Review key words by showing pictures again Say goodbye with a "Goodbye Song" (like Bye Bye Goodbye) ️ Optional Take-Home Activity: Send a coloring worksheet or simple matching game PDF to parents via email or chat: Match animal to action: → swim, → fly, → run
