About Thomas
Good morning ! My name is Thomas, I am 29 years old and I am a self-taught artist. I drew for a long time in my childhood before being caught up with studies and professional life.
When I resumed drawing, I immediately sought to understand the different fundamentals and still continue to do so. to do (because one of the wonderful things about drawing and art in general is that you never stop progressing!) and I now have at my disposal an arsenal of various exercises and practices which effectiveness is no longer to be proven.
I am also part of the team of Digital Painting School, the largest French digital painting community, and conduct weekly drawing workshops on the Discord of this community.
Concerning my character, I am super jovial, energetic and like to talk a lot! Obviously a teacher who just talks is not a good teacher and I also know how to listen and empathize very well :).

I am convinced that a good learning method is above all a method which inculcates to the students the fundamentals and automatisms that he will then be able to use independently. For this, it is important for the student to UNDERSTAND the theory I teach him and the tools he will use, in order to then be able to PRACTICE effectively and not stupidly regurgitate what he has learned.
Thus, I would make it a point of honor that the student is confident in the assimilation of these fundamentals and in his personal practice.
That said, I also expect a minimum of investment from him. Drawing is an incredible, complex and difficult field, and it is obvious that without investment progress will not be achieved.
To help the student practice, I would also suggest exercises that he can do in his free time between sessions (and also apply to his favorite subjects!).
The lessons are aimed at all levels, even if they are mainly intended for beginners / amateurs. Regarding the content, it will be tailored to the needs of the student, and may as much concern fundamentals that the student wishes to work (anatomy, perspective, volumes, light, etc.) or be a more comprehensive approach to drawing. I can also tackle the basics of 3D modeling on Blender software (3D is now a reality in the world of creation, particularly in the field of video games / films / series productions).

Perfect! Thomas a pris très vite ses marques avec les deux enfants de 8ans qu'il a eu en cours. Il s'est adapté au niveau des enfants, qui ont vraiment apprécié leur 1er cours.
