About Alex
I am a second-year biology major at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. During the school year, I work in a biomedical research lab on campus, and I contribute to valuable research on treatments for diabetic retinopathy. I also volunteer with the American Red Cross chapter at UWM during some of my free time. I am confident in my ability to teach the wonders of biology to others.

I offer laid back but high quality lessons either online or in person. A typical lesson will be tailored to each student's individual needs and finding areas where they are uncomfortable with the course material. Breaking things down into manageable and easy to understand language and ideas is something that has helped me get through a lot of my own coursework as a student and I hope to offer that to my students. Lessons can be for anybody, but I cater to middle/high school and some college courses.
