About Callie

Hi, I’m Callie! I’m a certified science teacher with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and several years of experience teaching biology and general science. I’m passionate about making science relatable, fun, and less intimidating for students. I believe learning should feel encouraging and empowering, not stressful. My students know me as patient, organized, and genuinely invested in their success. Whether we’re reviewing for an exam or exploring new topics, I aim to create an environment where curiosity and confidence grow together.

About the lesson

My tutoring style is all about helping students feel confident and capable in science. I take time to understand how each student learns best and use clear explanations, visuals, and real-life examples to make even the toughest topics easier to understand.
Each session is interactive, supportive, and designed to build both knowledge and confidence. I love using creative methods like analogies, videos, and short practice activities to make lessons engaging and memorable. My goal is for every student to leave each session feeling proud of their progress and excited to learn more.
