About Georgia
Hi,
My name is Georgia and I'm a Science and Maths tutor teaching up to and including A-level standard. I achieved 10A*s at GCSE and 3A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level therefore, as well as knowing the content, I am able to teach exam practice. I have recently returned from teaching Science for a year in a rural village in Guyana. In Guyana I taught GCSE and A-level standard science (mainly Biology) and also guided the students through their controlled assessments, with my students achieving the highest grade in their formal Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate examinations. Working alone in a Guyanese classroom developed the creativity of my teaching style. In a classroom with a wide range of abilities I learnt to adapt my teaching style to suit all levels and to use different techniques to appeal to different learning types. In October 2019 I will begin studying Medicine at Cambridge University.

Georgia taught as a Volunteer Teacher in rural Guyana for 12 months with Project Trust. Her main responsibility was teaching Maths and Science within the school.
