About Damien
In the last four years, I was given the opportunity to introduce physical sciences to hundreds of students, from seconde (10th grade) to BTS (two years post high school diploma). I realized quickly that the main difficulty students have with this topic boils down to reasonning: identify the variables, set up a procedure to solve a problem, carry out the necessary operations... I know now how to present and what to focus on to insure comprehension and retention.

With a bachelor in Physics and a MS in Science Education, I use a variety of proven methods (tutorials, problem solving skills, etc.) to help students gain a deep understanding of a phenomenon or a skill in solving a particular type of problem. Preferring coherence over a collection of knowledge, I always bring the concept back to its elementary level, deconstructing the problem into solvable parts and bringing it back together.
