About Carolina
I'm a visual artist looking to use my passions to enrich the lives of others. I've always been interested in non-traditional teaching and mentorship. I have years of experience tutoring children and am looking to expand my language and art lessons to different people of different ages and levels. Upon finishing my most recent artist residency, I want to help other artists establish confidence in not just their portfolio, but their creativity. My degree in Visual Arts and my studio experience gives me confidence that I can lead you in creating a body of work that makes you proud, and an art practice you can carry with you in life. I hope to share my skills as I look towards further matriculation. I believe education should be accessible at any stage of life, let's start with a weekly lesson!

My lessons' philosophy focuses on creating a practice. On responding to the human need to learn, and the mind’s need to establish habits. Lessons together would be a chance at bringing your desired skill into your lifestyle. I consider myself a forever learner, not just in my preferred creative practice, but in languages, musical instruments, and ways to move. I’d look to practice hands-on work together whilst trying various learning methods to strengthen connection to your new art practice. Learning requires care, with not only discipline but with heart. My lessons will demonstrate the importance of seeking inspiration and bringing that passion into the learning space. I'm interested in working with students of all levels of experience, I'll meet you wherever you are in your artist journey.
