About JINYOUNG
I have over 3 years of tutoring experience and spent a year as a university learning assistant, helping students build confidence in math and computer science. My lessons focus on understanding concepts instead of memorizing steps. I explain topics in simple terms, break difficult problems into smaller parts, and guide students until they can solve similar questions on their own.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing any questions or homework, followed by learning a new concept with examples. We then work through practice problems together before ending with independent questions to reinforce the material. I adjust every lesson to the student's pace and goals, whether they are preparing for exams, completing assignments, or building a stronger foundation.
I teach high school and college students in subjects including computer science, programming, data structures, algorithms, calculus, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics. My goal is to make challenging topics easier to understand while helping students become more confident and independent learners.
