About David

Hi everyone, David here.

I am an Academy Of Contemporary Music graduate, with a BMus (Hons) Degree in Drums.
I currently play drums for rock band SPIT and offer private drum tuition.

I have 2+ years teaching experience, having taught both privately and at music academies (Realistic Music Academy, DK Music Academy and British School Of Rock).

I teach beginners to advanced level.

About the lesson

I consider myself a musician rather than just a drummer, offering a very positive and musical approach to the instrument.

When teaching, I aim to pass on my knowledge and love for drumming and music, nurturing the musical side of the student.

As an active drummer myself I can also provide music industry insights for those wishing to pursue a career as a performer, breaking down both live and recording studio situations.

David one the only one of many who messages me back whilst I was hunting for a tutor to help me get back in to drums. He was patient and showed all the skills I need and more to pick it up again and learn even more! I’ve had weekly lesson with David and definitely don’t need I’ll ever need to find a new tutor! We have a great time at my lessons and it makes the whole experience fun and easy to learn.
