About Abdallah
Hi! I'm a Robotics Engineering graduate with a strong background in applied Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. My academic journey has taken me across the globe—having lived and studied in The Gambia, Nigeria, and the UAE, I bring a truly international perspective to my teaching. I’ve previously tutored university-level students, and now I’m offering support in GCSE Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I know firsthand what it’s like to struggle with Maths, and I use that insight to help students overcome similar challenges with patience, empathy, and practical techniques. My teaching style is fun, relaxed, and interactive—far from the traditional classroom feel. I aim to create a comfortable yet professional environment where students of all ages can build confidence and learn at their own pace. I make use of digital notes and tools so that annotations and visual explanations are easy to follow—something that helped me a lot in my own studies. Outside of tutoring, I’m a keen gamer, photographer, and videographer. I believe having diverse interests helps me connect with students on many levels and keep lessons fresh and engaging. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in Maths, Physics and Computer Studies—subjects I’ve loved and excelled at, both in school and through my degree in Robotics Engineering. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student go from unsure to self-assured. In our first session, I focus on getting to know you: what you’re good at, what needs work, and how best you learn. This gives us a strong starting point. From there, we jump into past paper practice—a technique that helped me succeed in my own studies. We review every paper using the mark scheme, clear up misunderstandings, and reinforce key concepts. I also prefer using other tools like diagrams and videos to further help with learning. I have found these to be incredibly helpful during my GCSEs. I’m familiar with the GCSE exam board, and I tailor each session to meet individual goals—whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, or just need support understanding tricky topics. Beyond tutoring, I’ve helped peers during university and served as a student rep, sharpening my communication and leadership skills. My final-year project—a full-motion flight simulator using a Stewart platform—was a highlight of applying theory in the real world.
