I would describe myself as a positive, energetic, knowledgeable, and diligent teacher/tutor.
I have a flexible style of teaching that can cater to all students and abilities.
My 25+ years of teaching was shown me that not all students are alike nor learn alike.
I focus on the positive and try to add to that so the student will see success.

I start with topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually toward more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually. I don't lecture to students or ask them to memorize things.
Nor do I do the student's homework for them! However, I am happy to help.
I provide the tools needed to help the student succeed.
I specialize in English/ Language/Reading.
I am open to other subjects in the 1 - 6 grade range.
