About Gary
Teaching best describes my most recent 10 years. Prior to that, most of my responsibilities have been in Operations Management in manufacturing, consulting, sales and banking/finance. What success I may have had I owe in large part to my passion for teaching my customers the basics of their particular business transaction making it relevant to them.
I served for three years as part-time intake counselor for a soup kitchen. During that time, I interviewed and attempted to help about 1000 Street People. This was a great experience as I learned a deep empathy for people from all kinds of backgrounds. More importantly I learned how to meet their needs at the point of their need.

Beginning at your point of need, I train you by teaching precept upon precept. New learning must be built on a solid foundation. We use what you already understand as the foundation and build upon that.
A typical lesson begins with the introduction of a new concept (solving simultaneous equations, or Newton's Third Law of Motion for example) followed by problems to illustrate the application of the concept.
We work together solving problem examples until you have mastered the concept. During this time I fully expect you to ask many questions. (there are no dumb questions.)
The lessons are typically crafted for High School Freshmen thru College Freshman, but can be of equal value for those in the business world who may be in need of a refresher course.
Math assistance is available for intro math thru pre-Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Medical Math & Culinary math.
Physics: Both introductory and Honors.
Chemistry: Both introductory and Honors.
Bible: OT & NT. Surveys, Book Studies & Topical Studies.
