About Manpreet
I am a Graduate with a strong foundation in life sciences and a focus on helping students build both conceptual understanding and exam confidence. My approach is structured, clear, and adaptive, specifically designed to meet students where they are and guide them toward measurable improvement.
With my previous students I have focused to emphasize active learning through question-based teaching, spaced repetition, and real exam-style practice. I help students develop the reasoning skills with active learning, which is required to confidently tackle complex concepts under timed conditions.
A typical session would involve identifying weak areas, breaking down high-yield concepts step by step, and reinforcing learning through targeted practice questions with detailed feedback. I also support students in building effective study strategies as per their personalized schedules and maintaining consistency across their preparation.

Hi, I’m Manpreet! I am a UBC Biology graduate and currently work as a Clinical Research Coordinator. I offer classes in Biology, Chemistry, Math and Physics for high school and 1st year undergraduate students. I focus on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorize facts.
My lessons are tailored to students’ learning style and goals. I incorporate concept maps, diagrams, practice questions, and real-world examples to make complex topics easier to understand.
