About Justin
As a recent graduate from the University of Waterloo, where I earned an Honors BA in Legal Studies and Business, I’ve developed strong skills in time management, prioritization, and academic discipline. I was also a 4-year member of the varsity football team, earning Academic All-Canadian honors each year—a reflection of my commitment to excellence both in the classroom and on the field. I will be starting law school at the University of Windsor in September 2025, and I’m excited to support students in their academic growth in the meantime. That said, my academic journey wasn’t always smooth. It wasn’t until around grade 11 that I truly began to find success in school. Because of that, I understand how frustrating and overwhelming learning can feel at times. I bring that empathy into my tutoring by offering practical, hands-on strategies—some traditional, some unorthodox—that help make difficult concepts more manageable and memorable. My goal is always to create a supportive, engaging environment that helps students build confidence, develop new skills, and succeed on their terms.

I take a hands-on, interactive approach to tutoring that encourages active participation and real understanding rather than passive memorization. I believe students learn best when they’re engaged, so I focus on asking questions, working through problems together, and using real-life examples to make abstract concepts more relatable. Whether we're tackling homework, preparing for a test, or reinforcing key ideas, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking ownership of their learning.
