About James
I am a graduate from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in General Management and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching with a preliminary credential in Mathematics at Pepperdine University's Graduate School of Education & Psychology and will be pursuing an Education Specialist credential at National University.
I have a background in entry-level accounting, office administration, customer service, sales, marketing, event planning, and education management. During my time at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF), I was actively involved in student organizations such as Pi Sigma Epsilon, Gamma Alpha serving as Vice President of Events and the Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda. Currently, at Pepperdine University, I served as the interim Director of Excellence for the California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) chapter and am now the incumbent Chapter President. My dedication, involvement and overall work experience has driven me to better serve my community and to pursue a career in Education.

Depending on the subject and the need of my students, I provide multiple methodologies ranging from direct instruction, concept development, concept attainment, etc. The most common methodology that I often use is direct instruction where I have my students write down notes on important concepts and examples of how to apply these concepts.

Sessions can be set up in one of three options: one-on-one, online, or group.
One-on-One Instruction Costs:
Grade 4-5: $20/hr + Travel Time ($10/hr)
Grade 6-8: $25/hr + Travel Time ($10/hr)
Grade 9-12: $30/hr + Travel Time ($10/hr)
College: $35/hr + Travel Time ($10/hr)
Online Service Costs:
Grade 4-5: $20/hr
Grade 6-8: $25/hr
Grade 9-12: $30/hr
College: $35/hr
Group Session Costs*:
2 students: $35/hr
3 students: $45/hr
4 or more students: $55/hr
*All students MUST be from the same parent
