I am a recent graduate in finance and mathematics. I have 5 years of teaching experience during my time at university working as a tutor for a variety of finance and math classes. I have also worked as a teaching assistant for a financial derivatives class.

I am a strong believer in visual learning. While taking advanced math courses in college I understood the importance of building strong math foundations, which were exceptionally helpful to LEARN formulas and techniques rather than memorizing them. I strongly value students who ask WHY-type of questions - even if I can't answer them, we'll create our own answer.
I normally focus on teaching/reviewing specific concepts during the first few minutes of our lesson before tackling problems.
