I am a University of Melbourne Statistics student who graduated with a 99.50 ATAR and 5 40+ raw study scores in 2025. My passion for teaching began naturally in high school when I started mentoring my own peers and friends through difficult concepts. I choose to teach because I genuinely love that lightbulb moment when a frustrating and complex mathematical concept suddenly becomes simple and clear to a student. My goal is to completely transform how high schoolers view math. I want to shift it from a subject of anxiety into one of confidence. Whether you are struggling to pass or pushing for an elite 40+ study score, I want to share the exact study skills and examiner insights that helped me succeed.

About the lesson

I like to teach by making challenging concepts simple and breaking down complex formulas so you understand the "why" behind the math. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to fit your personal style. I understand that some students need to slowly build up their confidence and fluency skills, and some want to be pushed into the elite 40+ study score band. Either way, I want to help achieve your goals.

Our typical 60-minute lessons will focus heavily on building core confidence before extending into high-level problem-solving and VCE exam mastery. Because I achieved a 99.50 ATAR and 5 40+ raw study scores in 2025, I have a deep and firsthand knowledge of VCE study designs and what examiners look for. I have been tutoring for a few years, starting with my peers in high school, and currently guide 6 active students. As a University of Melbourne student majoring in Statistics (achieving a First Class Honors in Accelerated Mathematics), I bring advanced mathematical insight to our sessions. I know how stressful VCE can be, which is why I am incredibly patient, happy to explain things multiple times in different ways and ready to share the exact study skills and exam techniques you need to achieve your goals!
