About Madeline
I am currently working in healthcare administration but have been drawing for pleasure since I was 5, and making art seriously since 2012 when I began taking lessons and classes myself. I specialize in realism with graphite and charcoal, but I also enjoy working with acrylic paint and creating sculptures.

I believe strongly that often our drawings do not turn out the way we want because we are drawing based on our mental perception of what something SHOULD look like, but not what it actually looks like. I base my classes on putting down on paper exactly what one can see with the naked eye, using repetition, thumbnail exercises, and lots of laughter and fun riddled in between! Emphasis on use of shadow shapes and blocking with detail work and blending at the very end.

Details
My policy allows 1 short-notice cancellation or missed lesson per calendar year, then on the 2nd and all following occurrences there will be a $20 fee. Traveling more than 20 miles to instruct will result in a $5 up-charge per mile of travel.
