About Adrian
I have worked as a tutor for Impact Tutoring for two years. I have also been tutoring for Pathways to Education for four years and this program aims to provide educational services to students who come from low income neighbourhoods. Additionally, I have experience tutoring as a biology peer mentor at Queen's University.
I have experience working with kids from my 5 years of basketball coaching experience with the Sudbury Youth Basketball League as well as four years of experience teaching swimming lessons to children with disabilities.
I have tutored over 100 students over the last four years. I have helped students better learn the material, ace their exams and develop essential study habits for when they continue their education at the post-secondary level.

I am a recent graduate of Queen's University and I am gearing science tutoring lessons toward secondary school students, or elementary school students looking to get ahead in the maths and sciences.
Lesson structure will begin with a short lesson about the material at hand along with a question and answer period to clarify any questions that the student may have. The student and I will then work through homework and practice material as I believe practice problems are the best way to get a good grasp of the material.
I always aim to be encouraging for my students and I measure my success as a tutor by the success of my students and I aim to make sure my students expectations are met. I also understand that each student has a unique and specific learning style. It is therefore important to first and foremost assess these specifics with every student and gear lessons accordingly. This allows for a rich learning experience that guarantees results and creates confident and successful learners.
