About Sean
My name is Sean and I’m a qualified Primary School Teacher, currently working in the Humanities Faculty of a Secondary School. I have worked in schools for 5 years, and qualified as a teacher in 2017.
When teaching, I feel it is really important to understand how your student thinks and what their challenges are. Knowing them will help me know what they need from me to succeed. I am also aware that different learners need different styles and amounts of time to process their learning - patience is essential!
I will take that time to explore with you what goals we need to set, then use the learner’s interests to engage them in their learning. I have used the National Curriculum in my teaching practice, so I am ideally placed to help your child succeed. I also pride myself of building strong relationships with students I teach, after all, this is facilitates the learning.
Whether you are looking for a bit of a boost in Grammar understanding, phonics or would like to work on your strategies for answering comprehension questions - please get in touch!
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
