About Jasmine
I'm a qualified secondary English teacher with experience teaching in both the UK and an international British school. Having recently moved abroad, I've been learning Spanish myself, so I understand what it's like to learn a language from the other side of the classroom. That experience has made me even more patient and aware of the challenges learners face when building confidence in speaking, reading and writing.
I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, including English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners, and I believe every student can succeed with the right support. My lessons are encouraging, engaging and tailored to each learner's needs, whether they're aiming for top grades, catching up after falling behind or simply wanting to feel more confident in English.
I have experience teaching KS3, GCSE, IGCSE and International A Level English Language and Literature. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students become confident, independent readers, writers and communicators who enjoy learning.

Hi, I'm Mrs Pow, a qualified secondary English teacher with experience teaching KS3, GCSE, IGCSE and International A Level English in both British and international schools. I teach students aged 11-18, as well as learners of English as an Additional Language (EAL) who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking and overall confidence in English.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Whether you're preparing for exams, aiming for a top grade, catching up with schoolwork or building confidence, I'll create a personalised learning plan to suit your goals, strengths and learning style.
My teaching is calm, supportive and engaging. I focus on helping students understand why something works rather than simply memorising it. Lessons are interactive and may include guided reading, exam-style questions, model answers, essay planning, creative writing, vocabulary development and regular feedback to track progress.
