About Christopher
I'm Chris and I am a 39 year old former research scientist with ~20 papers published in the field of neuroscience. I live in Cardiff and have done for 20 years with my wife and 2 year old son, Elis. I am a trained (recently qualified) secondary school teacher, but I also have experience mentoring and supervising undergraduate and PhD students. I am really keen to help you get back on track (if needed) and excel in science.

I am calm, patient, and keen to adapt my teaching to find the best approach for you. If you are struggling with a particular topic at school, or if you are looking for some revision sessions to reinforce your learning, I am really happy to adapt my sessions to what you need to get the most out of your education.
I am open to both online session as well as face-to-face sessions within the Cardiff area. As a newly qualified teacher, I am well-trained in effective teaching methods and I have a good understanding of WJEC schemes of work in science.
My sessions would typically be an hour but I am happy to be flexible, and accommodate shorter, or longer sessions if you or your child has particular needs.
