Teaching Approach and Methodologies
My teaching is structured, supportive, and tailored to each individual child. I use a range of evidence-based strategies to support literacy development, particularly for children with dyslexia and additional learning needs. This includes breaking learning into manageable steps, using multi-sensory techniques, and reinforcing skills through repetition and positive encouragement. Some of the programs I use include UFLI, Toe-by-Toe and Sounds Linkage.
I place a strong emphasis on building confidence, as I believe children learn best when they feel supported and successful. Lessons are engaging and adapted to suit each child’s pace, interests, and learning style.
Lesson length
Lessons last 45 minutes.
